I installed observium and owncloud on a raspberry pi. Tests so far are looking promising. Observium offers things that opennms doesn’t, but lacks on several features. Running both seems the option to go.
Owncloud works like a charm. Goodbye Dropbox.
what did you change to speed up the graphs on Observium?
I used nginx, php5-fpm and mysql to serve the observium. It is the right measurement of tuning to get the graphs working.

Do you have a guide on how you setup Observium on the Raspberry Pi?
I haven’t build a guide yet, but it might look like a good idea to write one.

Yes please publish a guide to install on rpi
Any chance you could write up a guild to installing Observium on the Raspberry Pi, I tried but the discovery part doesn’t work and I can’t add any devices!
I just added the project of how to install observium on a raspberry pi.
what exactly is that you find observium lacking compared to opennms?? also did you install debian on the raspberry pi?
Observium in the free version lacks the notification support. OpenNMS does a excellent discovery, supports notifications and escalations, its is more carrier-grade so to say.
The installation happened on a rasperian distribution.
