This is my current solution to my mobile road warrior pains. Translates UMTS to wifi for up to five nodes. Works perfectly.

Port: 9201 oder 8001
connection type: kontinuierlich
Authentiztationtype: normal
Username: data@bob.at
Password: ppp
APN: bob.at
MMS (diff to the above):
Profilname: mms.bob (choose your own)
Startpage: http://mmsc.bob.at
APN: mms.bob.at
