Ethernet bonding fasst nun beide Ethernetinterfaces zum einem Bond zusammen und definiert darauf seine virtuellen Interfaces. Dabei werden VLANs verwendet. Desweiteren darf man das nicht nur an einen Ethernetswitch anschliessen, da der Bond die MAC-Adresse auf beide physikalischen Ethernetkarten gleich hält.
